Five Windows

Deliciously deceptively dark and poetically creepy. Talk about misdirection. Excellent use of light and camera angles. The tone and pitch of the short makes one wonder from the opening scene whether things would happen as they do, or what will happen.

One looks for one thing, but something else occurs. Very well written and acted. In the tradition of a Hitchcock thriller, even the title doesn't lead one to expect what's to come.

It's morbid and enlightening. It's psychological and mind bending. It's dreary and unexpected. The imagery give one goosebumps.

Kudos William, cast and crew.

Unpredictable and Rewarding

The Ultimate Cat-And-Mouse game (Tom and Jerry - cute). The morbid tone and deceptive premise was paired perfectly with the script.

Houdini would have been proud of the trickery (and J.P. Morgan, too).

The film feels like it is personally told to you - very creepy in its use of close-ups and casual monologue. Appropriate for the one-on-one nature of the assassins' rivalry. Great editing and use of angles to convince the audience of the urban setting. The shadow play and use of fog helped make the space seem more cramped - the small world where it is just the two rivals. The twist ending is somewhat difficult to see coming, the use of foreshadowing and puns may have been a little too much for the piece.

An Overall Stroke of Genius!

Complete surprise

This was a complete shock!! Not only was the entire production great, the story line was fresh, exciting and utter surprise!! I loved it and would like to see it developed into a feature length film !! The lead actor was very convincing in his actions. I was a little disappointed in what was not very clear in the box. I would like to have seen a bit more of the face shot... not that I'm into gruesome scenes... but sometimes it makes the character playing the lead a bit more evil. The second actor was a total surprise... the scene was a complete shock...and the way he carried out his final mission and cleaned up the place, was well done!!
