Congratualtions to Miranda Hart, a funny woman who succeeded in her aim to create a traditional three camera sitcom that would appeal to the masses. She should also be congratulated for ending it on her own terms with this well written finale that gives her title character the ending we've always hoped she would get...if not in the way we expected her to get it.
She is of course supported by that marvellous cast of Sarah Hadland and Patricia Hodge, who have their own funny moments as ever.
The only thing I'd say is that they should stay strong in their decision to end the show here. It was a perfect finale. Yes, there maybe the desire to bring it back as a special or a film, but history is so littered with failed attempts that I think it's best to leave it alone.
Miranda will go on to have a huge career whatever she does I'm sure.
