First, there is something wrong with 657 people giving this an average rating of 2.2... and not ONE review on IMDB. Something there doesn't add up.

This movie has an interesting premise-- two gamers gaining access to totally immersive virtual reality. The script is weak. The special effects aren't bad. But the real killer is the weak ending, which really just drops the plot in the viewer's lap and leaves it there.

That said, it's better than a 2.2 rating flick... which says to me someone hated this company enough to game the ratings here-- or something went wrong with the rating system. Yes, this could have been a far better movie, but knowing how gamers usually rate such movies there should have been lots of written reviews with ratings all over the scale, from "best movie I've ever seen" to "worst movie ever".

This is a foreign film with voice dub and that has to be taken into account. The story, directing and acting isn't the best, but the CGI and special effects were pretty decent. But due to the ending I couldn't give it higher than 4 stars. If you're going to make a movie-- have the story and ending down pat. Otherwise, don't bother.

This movie is about a geek trying to go from introvert to extrovert. The computer simulation concept has great scenes, cosplay and good direction. The acting for a dub movie is good as well. Building confidence is the key point of this movie, breaking away from the video game world and being a part of the real world. This movie had good writing, acting and direction. The writing went south when they had sex. I know in America no MALE would have acted like that. From this point on the plot fails to keep me interested. I found it humorous that the young lady assumed she could just movie into her boyfriends parents house. It's not his house. I'm rooting for the bad guy.

All in all this wasn't a bad movie, just wish it had a better second half.

PS: The after mediation scene with his brother was funny.
