This episode is just amazing. It is character development personified. It starts of innocently enough, but goes into dark territory as we discover Amethyst was actually manufactured on earth, and it puts into perspective a joke from the episode Steven's Lion. That's what's amazing about this show, it takes a seemingly throwaway joke that ends up making perfect sense later on. The song is also very good, with lots of whistling. People cried at this episode, and I can easily see why, because man does it get emotional, with Amethyst's backstory and all. I wonder what the clanging sounds at the end were. And it wouldn't be a cartoon without humor, which the first half has plenty of. It's just all around one of the best episodes of the show so far.
