Introducing the cast of “Tyler Perry’s Assisted Living,” Tyler Perry’s latest comedy for BET.
The series stars Na’im Lynn, J. Anthony Brown, Courtney Nichole, Tayler Buck and Alex Henderson, while longtime Tyler Perry collaborators David and Tamela Mann reprise their roles as Mr. Brown and Cora.
In an exclusive behind the scenes clip, David Mann shares why he’s excited to play Mr. Brown again.
“Having Mr. Brown on a new project is kind of a breath of fresh air for me because it’s somebody new for me to fight with, some new friends,” David Mann says. “And, of course, bringing Cora along is that added bonus. … Mr. Brown was crazy before, but now that he has someone else to take him to the next crazy level, it’s gonna be fun.”
Tamela Mann adds: “Cora is the peacemaker, I’m always – even with Madea and Mr.

The Central Park zoo crew from “Madagascar” is back and ready to party in a new prequel series set to stream on both Hulu and Peacock.
Debuting Sept. 7 on both platforms, “Madagascar: A Little Wild” features the beloved characters Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe and Gloria the Hippo from the original 2005 film and many sequels and spinoffs that have come out of the franchise since.
The series will feature original music, following the four characters as kids living at the Central Park Zoo’s rescue habitat. “They might be small, but like everybody who lands in New York City, these little guys have big dreams and Madagascar: A Little Wild will follow all of their adventures,” says DreamWorks.

Disney Channel has produced a handful of iconic movie musicals over the years, and now the next generation of stars is taking the reins with the Descendants franchise. The film, which centers around the children of classic Disney heroes and villains, first premiered in 2015 to rave reviews and was eventually followed up with an equally successful sequel in 2017. While past DCOMs have failed to amount to the same success as The Cheetah Girls and High School Musical, the Descendants franchise has risen to the occasion with its catchy numbers and original storytelling, which is in large part due to director and choreographer Kenny Ortega.
Now, the franchise is taking things up a notch with the release of Descendants 3 this Summer. While all the original characters - or villain kids as the fandom calls them - will be back in action, there will also be a few new faces in the mix,...
