Kiss concluded their “End of the Road Tour” with a final performance on Saturday night (December 2nd) at Madison Square Garden in New York City, returning to the city where their journey began. If it was indeed their last show ever, the rock legends certainly went out in style.
In the days leading up to Kiss’ two Msg shows, the Big Apple was besieged by an epic Kiss takeover. Among the many events and activities that took place were a special light show at the Empire State Building, the declaration of an official “Kiss Day” by Mayor Eric Adams, a pop-up store, complimentary Kiss tattoos courtesy of Inked NYC, a “Kiss Night” at a New York Rangers game, and much more.
On Saturday night, Kiss took the stage one last time, preceded by an opening set from Amber Wild, a hard-rocking new band featuring Paul Stanley’s son Evan. Despite...

There’s a buzz about over 30 projects supposedly in the works for release in the next two years, and among them is the rumored ‘Thor 5.’ The rumors surrounding it are gaining momentum. Recently, Taika Waititi addressed the possibility of directing the fifth God of Thunder installment in the MCU. He casually dismissed it, stating it’s not currently on his schedule. With commitments like ‘Klara and the Sun’ adaptation and a live-action ‘Akira’ in the pipeline, Waititi has a busy few years ahead.
Fans collectively breathed a sigh of relief, recalling the chaotic mix of comedy, cancer, and a lackluster villain in ‘Love & Thunder.’
Now, it appears the studio has taken note of the feedback from ‘Love & Thunder.’ According to industry insider Daniel Richtman, they’re aiming for a more serious and dark tone in the yet-to-be-titled ‘Thor 5’ film and are eyeing Gareth Edwards for the director’s chair.

There are over 30 projects rumored to be in development and scheduled to be released sometime in the next two years, and ‘Thor 5’ is one of them, at least according to the rumors that are getting louder and louder. Recently, Taika Waititi commented on the possibility of him helming the fifth God of Thunder movie in the MCU, and he shrugged it off, saying that it’s really not on his schedule at the moment. He will be quite busy in the next few years prioritizing his adaptation of ‘Klara and the Sun,’ and a live-action adaptation of ‘Akira.’
Fans all over the world sighed a collective sigh of relief, remembering the circus that was ‘Love & Thunder,’ an overly comedic movie that dealt with cancer and one of the most terrible villains in Marvel Comics.
Now it seems that the studio did learn something about the feedback they got from ‘Love & Thunder’ as,...

Chris Hemsworth is already planning a third 'Extraction' film. The 39-year-old star is set to reprise his role as mercenary Tyler Rake in the Netflix action sequel and has set his sights on a third movie as he enjoys being in a franchise away from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).The 'Thor' actor told Total Film magazine: "I love it. I love playing the character. I love this world. I love having something else outside of Marvel that's amassed a bit of a following, something more in the real world."I honestly feel like we made a better film than the first one. That's rare in the franchise world. We'd be remiss not to have a crack at another one."Sam Hargrave is returning as director and echoed Hemsworth's thoughts by suggesting that the franchise has plenty of mileage. The filmmaker said: "There is so much room for...

That’s the presiding feeling about the box office performance of “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.” Disney’s superhero threequel opened to $106 million domestically in February, eviscerating trilogy records among the “Ant-Man” standalone stories. But ticket sales for Paul Rudd’s latest adventure have cratered in subsequent weeks. At this rate, “Ant-Man 3” may become one of the rare Marvel movies to either fall short of (or barely surpass) the $500 million mark at the global box office.
At this point, it’s earned just $470 million globally after six weeks of release. That’s not much higher than Disney’s pandemic-era Marvel movies, including “Black Widow” ($379 million globally while also debuting day-and-date on Disney+), “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” ($432 million) and “Eternals” ($402 million), and nowhere near franchise heavyweights like “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” ($955 million) and “Thor: Love and Thunder” ($760 million). “WandaVision” will welcome two more actors from the Marvel Cinematic Universe into Westview, with Kat Dennings and Randall Park reprising their characters from “Thor” and “Ant-Man and the Wasp,” respectively, on Friday’s episode.
When TheWrap caught up with “WandaVision” head writer Jac Schaeffer, she explained why Park’s Jimmy Woo and Dennings’ Darcy Lewis were chosen to appear in the Disney+ series, despite neither having any prior history with Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) or Vision (Paul Bettany).
“The narrative of the show gets bigger, as we all know, and in any story you need a variety of supporting characters,” Schaeffer said. “These two, Randall and Kat, are terrific performers and they are fan favorites. And so they were suggested to me early on and I said ‘absolutely’ and set about figuring out a way to involve them into the story.”

According to some new rumors that are circulating online, Captain Marvel 2 will feature a surprise cameo from another McU character to further establish the A-Force.
Avengers: Endgame concluded a story that started more than 10 years ago when the foundations of what we now know as the Infinity Saga were sown into the first Iron Man movie. Moving forward, though, the McU and its mastermind Kevin Feige have to reinvent themselves and plant the seeds for what will become the next big event in this established universe of superheroes.
As such, all eyes are on future Marvel movies to distinguish the overarching plot of the next saga. Captain Marvel 2, in particular, has received a lot of buzz, since its predecessor, as the first female-led McU film, sparked controversy when it premiered in 2019. While we currently have confirmation that a sequel is in development, it’s still too early for any plot details.

To say that Marvel fans were upset that Jaimie Alexander’s Lady Sif wasn’t in Ragnarok would be an understatement. After proving to be a standout character in both of the earlier, less critically appealing Thor movies, everyone was excited to see her return, but obligations to her hit show Blindspot prevented the actress from reprising the role. Perhaps that was for the best, though, as the God of Thunder’s third solo outing pressed a soft-reset button on the franchise, which resulted in the death or disappearance of several fan-favorite side characters.
In any case, we already know that Alexander is game to return and now, we’re hearing that she’ll soon be seen back on the big screen. According to sources close to We Got This Covered – the same ones who told us Black Mask will be gay in Birds of Prey and that Moon Knight was coming to the McU,...

Seeing how little we know about Marvel’s upcoming Thor: Love And Thunder, fans will have to be satisfied with rumors and theories for now. And the latest scoop to hit the internet about Natalie Portman’s future stint as the Goddess of Thunder is that 95% of the movie will be taking place in space.
These things, as always, need to be taken with a grain of salt, but if true, it would make for a pretty epic little space opera. Not to mention that additional reports claim that Peter Dinklage will return as Eitri and Chris Pratt is set to cameo as Star-Lord. Which makes sense, because, well, outer space. On top of all that, Taika Waititi is eyeing Stranger Things‘ Finn Wolfhard for a role in the film. Whew. How about we just focus on the space rumor for now, though?

Thor: Ragnarok introduced a bunch of fan favorite characters, arguably none more so than Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie. The Asgardian warrior finally made her second appearance in the McU earlier this year in Avengers: Endgame, in which the God of Thunder named her king of New Asgard. She’ll next turn up in 2021’s Thor: Love and Thunder, but we’ve heard that Marvel has big plans for her following the fourth Thor movie.
We Got This Covered has been informed that Valkyrie will get her own Disney Plus TV series after Love and Thunder. This intel comes to us via the same source who previously told us that Marvel was working on shows for both Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk before they were officially announced by the studio this past weekend, so we have no reason to doubt it.

One of the most anticipated films on the upcoming McU roster is Thor: Love And Thunder. It features fan-favorite Avenger Thor, portrayed by Chris Hemsworth, who reunites with director Taika Waititi, who breathed new life into the franchise when he helmed the action-packed, cheekily irreverent take on the Marvel superhero in Ragnarok.
Another familiar face will be returning to the world of Thor as well though in the shape of Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster, the God of Thunder’s ex who’ll also be playing the female version of Thor from the comics. Naturally, this has led many fans to fear that Love and Thunder might be the end of Chris Hemsworth’s original Thor, but Waititi laid those fears to rest at Disney’s D23 expo, saying that there will be two Thors in the film.

Until Taika Waititi got his hands on it, the Thor series was arguably the weakest of Marvel Studios’ standalone franchises. The first two installments may have done solid business at the box office, but neither is particularly well-regarded by either critics or fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Thor: Ragnarok served as a total reinvention for both the character and the entire franchise though, turning the God of Thunder into one of the most entertaining superheroes in the entire McU. Fans were rightly overjoyed then when it was announced at San Diego Comic-Con that Waititi would be returning to write and direct Thor: Love and Thunder, along with the surprising revelation that Natalie Portman would also be reprising her role as Jane Foster. Not only that, but the Academy Award-winning actress would be taking up the mantle of Thor, too.

Brie Larson made many people’s day yesterday when she shared a snap of herself lifting Thor’s hammer, jokingly proving that Captain Marvel is worthy of wielding Mjolnir. However, the actual owner of the Asgardian weapon is now getting a little jealous. No, not Chris Hemsworth’s God of Thunder, but Jane Foster, the Mighty Thor herself and star of Thor: Love and Thunder.
The Captain Marvel actress posted the photo along with the caption: “Not to be whatever, but….told you I could lift it.” Then, Portman replied a few hours later with the perfect response: “Hey muscles, easy with my hammer!!!” Fans went crazy for the comment, too, with it garnering just over 35,000 likes at the time of writing.
As you can see in the screenshot below, fellow McU star Michael B. Jordan also commented on Larson’s post with a duo of crying with laughter emojis.

Thor: Love and Thunder is already a very starry affair, what with its trio of bankable leads in Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson and Natalie Portman and hotly in-demand director Taika Waititi. One major Hollywood talent who’s yet to work with Marvel Studios before now might be just be joining them in the 2021 movie, though: Ryan Gosling.
As you may’ve heard, Waititi and Gosling recently met in La to discuss a couple of upcoming projects they could potentially collaborate on. Thor: Love and Thunder will bring back not only Chris Hemsworth’s God of Thunder and Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie, but also Natalie Portman as Jane Foster. Except this time Thor’s ex will become Thor herself, as she’ll be deemed worthy enough to lift Mjolnir and therefore granted the Asgardian’s powers.
We’re all assuming Portman will be playing the same Jane from 2011’s Thor and Thor: The Dark World. However, ScreenRant has put forward the intriguing theory that the female Thor could be a different version of Jane who crosses over to the main timeline. This could explain why Jane is now worthy when she wasn’t in earlier films.
It would also explain how Mjolnir is back. The hammer was destroyed in Thor: Ragnarok and, though a duplicate was pinched from the past in Avengers: Endgame, it was returned to its rightful place by the end of the movie.

Last month, Oscar-winner Natalie Portman took to the stage at San Diego Comic-Con and lifted the mythical Mjölnir, marking Jane Foster as the McU’s next Thor.
The moment ensured that Taika Waititi’s Thor: Love and Thunder would be one of the most talked about entries in Marvel’s Phase 4 slate, but with the film still over two years away from release, fans were left wondering exactly how the God of Thunder’s old hammer might make a comeback. According to a new (and potentially spoiler-heavy) report from FandomWire, however, the answer lies in the upcoming Loki show.
For his last couple of films, Thor’s weapon of choice has been the Stormbreaker axe, after his trusty hammer was destroyed in 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok. And while our hero managed to acquire another Mjölnir from an alternate timeline in Avengers: Endgame, his friend Captain America later returned the weapon to its own reality.

The God of Thunder was officially revealed to be getting a fourth solo movie – a first for the McU – last month, in the form of Thor: Love and Thunder. Taika Waititi is returning to write and direct after he successfully relaunched the franchise with Thor: Ragnarok in 2017 and just like in that film, he’s set to play a role in front of the cameras as well as he’ll be reprising Korg, the loveable Kronan last seen in Avengers: Endgame.
According to Hn Entertainment, though, we’ll be seeing more from Korg than ever before in Love and Thunder. The site can’t dish out any details just yet, but it seems his role will extend beyond his supporting presence in Ragnarok and cameo in Endgame. This wasn’t confirmed in their report, but presumably, we’ll see more of Korg’s insectoid pal Miek, too.

Look away now, Doctor Strange; the creative team behind Avengers: Endgame have named the three “scientific geniuses” of Marvel’s cinematic juggernaut and, well… there’s no room for the Sorcerer Supreme.
As part of the Endgame commentary track (h/t ComicBook.com), directors Joe and Anthony Russo sat down with Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely – writers of Endgame and many of its McU predecessors – to analyze each and every frame of what is now the highest-grossing film in history.
Part of that conversation involved the three scientific geniuses of the McU. Tony Stark and Bruce Banner are a given, of course, but the third entry? It may surprise you to know that the Russo Brothers, along with Markus and McFeely, hold Rocket Raccoon in that same bracket.
It takes Eitri, you know… and a legendary forge to make the first glove. And it takes Banner, Tony and Rocket to make the second one.

Avengers: Endgame is a showcase of show-stopping scenes; a spectacle built on the foundation of every McU entry that came before it that pays off nearly a decade worth of story arcs. Ask a room full of a hundred different people what their top moment in the movie was and odds are you’d get nearly a hundred different answers.
If Thor actor Chris Hemsworth were amongst that group though, we can now say what his answer would be. Thanks to a newly released featurette promoting Endgame’s home video release, the God of Thunder himself reveals what his favorite scene in the box office behemoth is.

You want to see a movie where a guy’s spine gets torn out by a ninja? How about one where a teenage girl kicks a guy’s heart out and then makes kissy faces through the bloody hole? Or the God of Thunder electrocuting someone so bad their arms and legs pop off, only to be mashed into a tiny flesh ball?
Well, expect all that and more from the upcoming Mortal Kombat film. Writer Greg Russo has explained in an interview that the movie intends to stick very closely to the series’ gore-splattered tone, and will include fatalities taken directly from the games.

Shortly after dethroning Avatar as the highest-grossing movie of all time, Avengers: Endgame has officially been made available for purchase. Unfortunately, it can only be bought as a digital copy at the moment (a proper Blu-Ray release is scheduled for mid-August), but fans are now able to relive one of the McU’s best films without having to shell out the cash to see it in theaters.
It probably comes as no surprise that the digital release packs in a handful of deleted scenes, too. After all, it seems both Disney and Marvel shot close to 1000 hours of footage for Infinity War and Endgame, which means that more than just a few sequences were left on the cutting room floor.
In case you haven’t had the chance to watch these scenes yet, we’ve gone ahead and compiled them all into one video, which we’ve embedded above. For...

If there’s one thing we know about Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie moving forward in the McU, it’s that the new King of Asgard will be on the lookout for her new queen in Thor: Love and Thunder, and now Lady Sif herself, Jaimie Alexander, is throwing her name into the mix.
To say Marvel fans were disappointed that Sif wasn’t in Ragnarok would be an understatement. She’d been a standout character in both of the earlier, less critically appealing Thor movies, but obligations to her hit show Blindspot prevented Alexander from returning. That being said, maybe that was in the her best interest, as the God of Thunder’s third film pressed a soft-reset button on the franchise, resulting in the death or disappearance of many fan-favorite side characters.
But now, it looks like Alexander is game to return for Love and Thunder, if the Marvel gods be willing.

You can’t please everyone. That’s a hard fact of life that many major franchise film directors are quite familiar with. Though Marvel movies usually have a higher success rate with critics, a quick glance at social media will unearth quite a few detractors for any given pic.
While some of this criticism is earned – here’s looking at you Iron Man 2 – Marvel’s focus on diversifying their future films has led to a lot of unwarranted hate toward movies that haven’t even been released yet. And, like most of the Internet, Thor: Love and Thunder director Taika Waititi has had enough.
After Marvel’s Sdcc panel revealed that the God of Thunder’s fourth solo outing would find Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster becoming the Mighty Thor, most fans were thrilled. However, almost immediately, a handful of angry fanboys took to the web to voice their displeasure with the idea.

Jane Foster’s cameo in Avengers: Endgame was so brief that Natalie Portman didn’t even need to film any new scenes for it. Instead, co-directors Anthony and Joe Russo used old footage from 2013’s Thor: The Dark World, though the actress was still called on to do a little voice work. In an early version of the script, however, it seems that the God of Thunder’s ex was given a lot more screen time opposite both Thor himself and his little raccoon companion.
Speaking at San Diego Comic-Con, Endgame co-writer Christopher Markus explained that they scripted a reunion between Chris Hemsworth’s character and Jane, but ultimately felt that a scene opposite Thor’s mother would be more appropriate for the hero’s arc:

Thor: Ragnarok departed from the tone and feel of the first two Thor movies, moving away from Earth and therefore losing much of the God of Thunder’s supporting cast. Its upcoming sequel, Thor: Love and Thunder, meanwhile, promises to glue the series together somewhat by bringing back Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, only this time she’ll be the one with the Asgardian superpowers as the Mighty Thor.
But will any of the crew from the original films make returns as well? Kat Dennings, for instance, hasn’t been seen in the McU as Jane’s intern Darcy Lewis since 2013’s Thor: The Dark World. ComicBook.com recently caught up with the actress though and pressed her for details on if she could show up in Love and Thunder. Dennings played coy in her reply, but made it clear that she’d love to work with director Taika Waititi.

Thor: Love and Thunder will be Chris Hemsworth’s fourth solo movie as the God of Thunder and his eighth turn overall as the character in the McU. Shooting the film will be like coming home for the actor, then. In more ways than one, in fact, as production on Love and Thunder will take place in Hemsworth’s actual home: his native Australia.

Thor: Ragnarok without a doubt had one of the most colorful casts of any movie in the McU. Everyone in the threequel was fighting to chew more of the screen than anyone else. We had Thor himself, of course, Loki, Valkyrie, Hela, Korg, Skurge and, last but not least, the Grandmaster, the ruler of Sakaar who was played by the one and only Jeff Goldblum.
As his fate was left open-ended by the time Ragnarok came to a close, though, it’s certainly possible that the character could return, and while nothing official has been announced just yet, Goldblum himself has now teased on Twitter that there’s certainly more to come from the Grandmaster.

To cheers loud enough to shake Valhalla to its foundations, Natalie Portman took the stage at San Diego Comic-Con’s Hall H with the mighty hammer Mjolnir in hand. Yes, Portman’s Jane Foster will become Thor in director Taika Waititi’s next Marvel Studios film “Thor: Love and Thunder.”
The astrophysicist Foster became the Goddess of Thunder in comic book writer Jason Aaron’s extraordinary “Thor” series starting in 2014. Foster was dying of cancer but she found herself worthy of Mjolnir when Thor himself suddenly became unworthy — he would go on to call himself the Odinson and ride a freaky giant goat, while Foster’s Thor fought for justice. The only problem was that when she became Thor, the transformation each time would cause all the progress Foster had made with her chemotherapy to vanish. Being a superhero, being Thor, was the right thing for Foster to do — but it was literally killing her.

His shocking new appearance was kept tightly under wraps – impressively so, in fact – right up until release day, with promotional material using footage from the character’s scenes in Avengers: Infinity War and Chris Hemsworth not mentioning anything about the transformation in interviews.
His beery despondency and sudden loss of confidence were touching, hilarious and very surprising, with the actor clearly relishing the chance to suit up as a far more vulnerable Thor than we’d ever seen before. It was also nice that he didn’t magically return to his previous form for the climactic battle, remaining as Fat Thor even as he hurled himself at the Mad Titan.
In fact, most people left the theater just wanting more of the character and thankfully, we now have exactly that thanks to this deleted scene that’s leaked online.

One of the most discussed topics to come out of Avengers: Endgame was the depiction of Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, who took a mighty step backwards in badassery, but a mighty step forward in belt size.
Following the heroes’ failure to stop Thanos from wiping out half of the universe in Infinity War, the God of Thunder retreats and goes into a deep, beer-filled slumber. By the time Rocket Raccoon and Hulk find him, Thor’s hair has at least quadrupled in length, and his belly has increased tenfold. The man who was once arguing with Star-Lord over who looked better now had the physical characteristics of the Dude.
But, “Bro Thor,” as he’s been officially dubbed, has gained quite the fanbase. In a genre filled with super-strength aliens, and rich humans who have to fight those aliens, a lot of self-proclaimed “pudgy” folk found comfort in the character’s new representation.

With yesterday’s news that Taika Waititi will soon bring Thor 4 to theaters, the God of Thunder quietly slipped past a major Marvel Studios milestone. With a fourth film incoming, the Thor series is now officially the longest-running franchise in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Though he may not be as ubiquitous as Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark or Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury, whose appearances in the McU have each hit the double digits, Chris Hemsworth’s Thor will be the first Avenger to receive more than the typical trilogy. It’s also likely, thanks to the finale of Avengers: Endgame, that this will be the only Phase One series to continue on past Phase Three.
Both the Iron Man and Captain America movies wrapped up their storyline within three standalone movies and a few Avengers team ups (of which Thor was also a part of). Robert Downey Jr.

Today’s brought good news for you Asgardian enthusiasts out there. Thor 4 has essentially been officially confirmed to be on its way, as The Hollywood Reporter has shared a story claiming that Ragnarok‘s Taika Waititi has signed a deal to write and direct a fourth adventure for the God of Thunder. But does the fact that this movie is happening prove that Chris Hemsworth won’t be in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3?
Following the hilarious “Asgardians of the Galaxy” scene at the end of Avengers: Endgame, fans assumed that Thor hitching a ride on the Benatar with the Guardians meant that he was now one of the team and would appear in their upcoming threequel. When asked if this was happening, the Endgame filmmakers played coy and said it was all up to GotG‘s James Gunn. Hemsworth himself, though, said he’d be down for playing Thor in the movie.
