Wherever you go, there you are.

Watching Nora and Kevin essentially fall apart is difficult, at this point watching them come together has been such a big part of the narrative it's difficult to not pull for them to keep all that together. Kevin is turning into his father and Nora is terrified of losing her new family, to the point that she is willing to do absolutely anything. Honestly it's all a bit to the detriment to the character Nora, it somehow makes her seem weak. Though, that could be the point, in S1 she was absolutely fierce, nothing to lose, this season she is vulnerable and fearful.

Kevin Carroll (John Murphy) is a truly fantastic actor, the real standout from the new cast members, he has a great subtle intensity. A bit on the fence about Patti, Ann Dowd is a wonderful actress, obviously, and the desire to keep her on the cast is understandable. For whatever reason her character feels a bit forced and heavy handed. She is basically there for exposition, and as an antagonist, her narration is redundant.

Good episode, filled with setting up the plot.

Warning: Spoilers
Re-watching "The leftovers",precisely S02E04, name of the episode "Orange Sticker", didn't know even that each episode had its own name until today! Then I remembered I found an orange sticker under the heater yesterday or the day before, saw the very tip of it coming from under, barely noticeable, grab it, and it's an "Orange Sticker"!

Earthquake, black dog, water gone and people disappear.

Without forgetting the vision I had the other day of "The Black Dog" swimming and shooting fire from the sea, few hours before or after (I don't know which came first, the vision or the event) Main mass shooting and Acapulco hurricane.

Some scary stuff is happening in this room by the 69 bus stop, and it seems it's gonna get 🔥, it always does after something like this occur.

Season 2 Won't Stop Being Amazing

Another great episode and still so many questions surrounding Miracle. "Orange Sticker" is nicely written and yet again great acted. Kevin is an intriguing character and his desperation is tangible. Nora's scene at the very beginning is just perfect and haunting. Wow! The scenes with John and Kevin are really interesting and there are more tensions to come. Erika also grows as a character and I really like how Miracle is introduced. Not everything is as picture perfect as it seemed.

Patti and Kevin also have a very good scene, which offers some answers - and new questions. Ann Dowd is a fantastic actress and everything she says is just haunting me.

A nice episode and so well-executed. I just love it!

I've a bad feeling

Is this going anywhere? Or is it just spinning round and round like Lost? It seems that there are more and more questions and absolutely no answers. I feel like this season is going to let me down. I have dumped the Walking Dumb for this. I simply can't take how idiotic the characters and their decisions are on TWD. With The Leftovers, at least in the first season, the characters seemed to act in ways that made much more sense in terms of human nature. Now I see the show drifting, making less and less sense and tending more and more towards some divine intervention, magical nonsense. Lost became so convoluted and ridiculous after a while with nary a logical answer or conclusion ... hate to see that happen here, but it sure seems like this is the way this is going.

Is Miracle real?

Warning: Spoilers
Well, it seems inevitable that from here things can only get worse for the Garveys. Patti's appearances in this episode are a tad irritable as they come across as a way for the plot to lazily infodump what happens during Kevin's sleepwalking. To an extent it makes sense, one part of his mind explaining things to another part of his mind, however it's not exactly a subtle way to tell viewers what's going on. But on the actual message. Perhaps what Kevin has here is a way of convincing himself that he's okay when he really isn't, causing his brain to push his darkest thoughts into an alternate ego. Does he truly love his family? Patti has her own take, saying they're only together so they have something to cling on to. If he really loved Nora, he would tell her about Patti, about his attempted suicide. So do they really love each other, or are they clinging on to each other? It's probably a bit of both. Not telling Nora could be seen as an act of love, as he doesn't want to push burden onto her. In the end, Nora and Kevin being handcuffed at night feels like a solution to a small element of a larger issue. It leads to an uneasy sense of happiness that, at least, things haven't fallen apart just yet.

The nature of Nora and Kevin's relationship isn't the only mystery though. Is Miracle really a miraculous place? There's no definite answer either way. Really, it depends on who you are and what you choose to look at. Obviously, the lack of a single person departing is a stroke in favour. So is Matt's heartfelt story about his wife speaking for one night. The latest events suggest the opposite. Evie's parents still say they believe in the place (although her father doesn't act as if they do). Meanwhile, her brother is open about his lack of belief in the place (interestingly, he earlier pointed out about people's lack of belief in God). And Kevin finds out, according to his alter-ego anyway, that Evie and her friends did in fact vanish. But there's another thing- at the same time as they vanished, Kevin was saved from drowning by the earthquake draining the water away. Isn't that a miracle?

In the end, these conflicting messages probably point to the truth being that Miracle is whatever you choose to believe it to be.
