This film deals with the medical world from a child's perspective. A child facing a serious diagnosis exists somewhere between a dream and an alternate reality as she comes to inside a clinical center. The color palette in the film alternates between symbolizing life and death, while the imagery does the same. It uses beautiful cinematography, but ultimately reminds viewers of the disassociation experienced by a young patient in the state of her body failing. A good short for those who like the magical realism genre. I am personally a fan of Del Toro, Bergman, and the like, so this was a pleasant surprise on IndieFlix.
