The Nail Gun Massacre: Interview with Whitey Thomas (2014)
*** (out of 4)
This here is a fun 11-minute interview with Whitey Thomas who was the sound man on the notorious film THE NAIL GUN MASSACRE. If you've seen the film in question then you know it's one of the worst movies ever made but it's thankfully so incredibly bad that it gained a cult following as soon as it was released to video back in the day. Thomas talks about the various problems they ran into during production and he also talks about the lack of money they had. There's also some talk about the equipment that was used for the sound effects but the most interesting thing is Thomas discussing what went so wrong with the effects. Overall this is a pretty good interview that allows Thomas to talk about his role in the picture and give his thoughts on the various issues that happened. Fans of the film will certainly enjoy hearing the stories as it gives you a good idea of what was going on behind-the-scenes.
