This short film takes on the legend of the Slinderman as it is set during the Civil War period as a soldier and his woman are running through some woods when they notice something chasing them.
Director Justin Jones does a very good job with the material and for the most part I thought he created a fun horror short. The film manages to work on the horror level and I thought it was very effective during the scenes where we see the Slinderman in action. There are some flaws including the narration that is used early on as I felt it took away from the action that we were looking at on the screen. Still, this was an interesting film and certainly one that would benefit from an extended feature.
