Clutzy, repetitive massage porn
lor_11 January 2016
I'm not sure why niche marketing has gone to such extremes recently, but replacing good old porn is now a variety of silly, specialized-beyond-recognition XXX material. Gamma Entertainment from Canada typifies this trend, and "Slippery Sinners" is one of its dumbest efforts.

The genre is not merely massage porn, but rather a subset involving Nuru Massage, a Japanese import involving cold, slimy gel applied to masseuse and victim's (I mean customer, the john) bodies for plenty of no-hands rubbing. This may be all well and good in real life, but from a cinematic point-of-view it is deadly dull.

That is underscored by the modern "slap a few vignettes together and call them a DVD feature" approach of Gamma and its various subsidiaries which stress lesbian sex but also include specialized boy/girl action. These Nuru exercises are regimented in the extreme -the ritualistic massage is always the same: pay your 200 bucks (Canadian?), take a shower together in which a momentary tease of a hand-job is applied, bathe together in which the briefest of blow-jobs occurs, then get rubbed down with the girl's body followed briefly by actual Clintonian sex.

Fortunately actor turned director Barrett Blade (he's misspelled "Barrette" on screen in the credits, apparently typed out by some Quebec staffer) has some very sexy women as masseuses, notably Peta Jensen who has probably the best body of any newcomer in the business circa 2014/2016 and lovely blonde Britney Amber.

The dramatic situations in the vignettes are lame, exacerbated by clumsy patching together episodes that were meant to stand alone (on Gamma's websites, for which all this material is originally shot, the DVDs being mere afterthoughts). For example, Eric Masterson, that reliable star from a decade ago, plays the cuckold twice -two different husbands whose masseuse wife is up to no good. In one of them he gets three-way action for which Blade lamely tries and fails to generate some comedy from the situation of two guys humping a girl simultaneously and whether that level of closeness makes them gay by inference.

In Masterson's other segment, Tommy Gunn (another victim of two segments playing two different guys) is a creep collecting a big debt, and Peta works Gunn up to the point where he's willing to forego the cash in order to consummate the lengthy Peta tease with a hump. This scene is really terrible apart from Peta's beauty, as none of it makes sense, including her insistence he stop and put on a condom, when the other footage is all shot bareback. For the millionth time, the viewer is insulted: I enjoyed seeing Peta but had to put up with the other nonsense in her scene just because "all that matters is the sex". That is patently untrue, because I can (and did) watch Peta in other videos where her talents are not misused as they were here.
