I only wish it was a longer film....

Warning: Spoilers
This is an intimate look into the life of a cancer patient.

There is much hoopla surrounding new hope for advanced cancer. So many talk about treatment and survival of many years. But the statistics for mortality remain nearly unchanged. And there is no happy ending here. Cristina's life ends just five short months after the stage 4 diagnosis. Her unwavering love for her husband (and his love for her) are evident. Over everything else, she refuses to feel sorry for herself. She implores the viewer to live for NOW. Important message. Do not miss this.

Beautiful and Tragic

Warning: Spoilers
Such a beautiful and tragic story about a young woman facing her 2nd cancer diagnosis after having beaten breast cancer just a few years back. She is supported by her loving husband and family through this extremely difficult uphill battle. As someone who worked in the film industry she wanted to have her story documented on film by her good friend.

Cristina was the embodiment of all that is good, decent, kind and genuine which was why it was so incredulous that this would happen to someone like her; a runner, who did not drink, use drugs or even take vitamins for fear it might damage her liver. Just more proof that Cancer is terribly cruel and offers little rhyme or reason.

She had the biggest heart and loving spirit. She knew her odds were not good but this never seemed to break her spirit and she never seemed to have any self pity. She had extreme gratitude and love for her family.

I had to watch this twice because I was so awe inspired by this story and uplifted to watch a person like her handle her terrible cards she was dealt with incredible dignity and grace. She was not in denial. She knew what the deal was but she coped with this.

Another spoiler; at the very end she gave what sounded like the most simplistic, tony robbins style advice but from HER I found it incredibly profound; that now is all any of us are guaranteed. There is no assurance any of us will have a tomorrow.

Amazing moving story.
