This season just doesn't slow down. Aside from the last episode which was decent, every episode from this season has been impeccable thus far. "Regrets Only" is yet another impressive entry for Daredevil season 2.

This episode saw the unlikely partnership of both Elektra & Matt and also Frank & Karen. Both sub plots complemented each other quite well as the former went on small heist to get information on the Japanese Mafia while the ladder figured out Frank's current legal situation. I wasn't the biggest fan of Elektra's first outing last episode, but the dynamic between her and Matt felt refreshing and real. It's nice to see Matt work with someone he can't fully control or understand.

Karen is also stepping it up as she took control of the case with Castle. Foggy was left out of everything pretty much and will likely have an issue with that going forward. But besides that, the show is managing to balance the story lines much better than I had expected they would. Now, seeing that Castle plead not guilty means we are in for quite the trial over the next few episodes. I'm really just interested to see how organically Elektra's role will fit in with the rest of the season. For now though, I could not be more thrilled with where this season is heading.

The unlikely unions, now and here.

Warning: Spoilers
As it turns out, Hell's Kitchen is infested by hidden Yakuzas and ninjas. The new threat, though might not be urgent, forces Murdock to cooperate with the volatile Elektra. This takes up his time and veers him away from the taxing case of appealing for Frank Castle. However, he also seems more natural around her, in a glamorous Mission Impossible setting no less.

Out of allies and options, Frank Castle is looking at a grim future, mostly concerning his demise. After a meeting with unqualified defense attorney, Nelson and Murdock decide to help Castle get a more lenient plea. It helps him get a fighting chance on a legal matter but also puts Murdock on a wobbly footing as his night time activity calls in for an assignment.

The two head for Yakuza party to secure a ledger, which looks more enjoyable to Murdock than he might expect. It's not often he spends some time without having to hide his secrets, being judged or just simply having someone on his side. This is a partially playful interaction as well as an infiltration mission, and the life style can be dangerously compelling to Murdock.

Karen always has an admiration to the Punisher, perhaps because she knows what it feels to be both in dark and light. She put in the effort to investigate and Frank responds kindly to this, in his own rugged way. Karen helps him keeping the memory of his family as fond times, not just anguish for vengeance. Account of the tragedy is still delivered by Frank, which is a much more effectively mysterious way instead of actual flashback sequences.

There is new bond forged and old one reconnected, the polar opposites do attract, even if the bonds may just be momentarily.

Not Great [7/10]

Warning: Spoilers
Live Reaction / Review for Daredevil Season 2 Episode 6: Episode 5 was good, but i hope this one is better (it isn't). The episode starts with a cool fight scene. I hope this episode wont focus on Elektra (it did), her character is nice but not as interesting as Fisk or the Punisher. Why do they care so much to defend Frank? I mean he is a murderer after all and he has killed so many people so why Team Daredevil cares so much if he gets the death penalty? Makes no sense. After seeing a few episodes im now sure that Matt and Karen have no chemistry. At least we get to see Frank in this episode which is good. This episode feels flat, nothing really exciting happens. My rating is 7.0/10.

An exciting normal episode. The story went on. There is a whole lot of questions and riddles here.

Turning it around

Warning: Spoilers
Things turn around for the better with this episode. The Punisher returns and inevitably bags all the best scenes. Karen actually gets proper material to work with, and even the Elektra scenes - a heist of sorts - are quite a lot of fun. Let's hope the improvement continues...
