Some problems are reduced or simplified. They are being used as political tool by either party to further an agenda or play into whatever works for them to reach voters. So while some instrumentalize those who seek asylum to rile up a nationalistic base (those who "fear" an invasion and the loss of their culture), others may use them to show "good" they morally speaking, by accepting them or letting them in their country.

Mostly we forget that actual real people are behind some of the statistics. I am not an expert in how certain things should be handled and neither are many of the people who speak out on behalf of the people here. But they have their best interest in mind. This movie will not offer solutions to the overall problem or the core of it (why so many flee their country - we know why mostly, the circumstances there are horrible and they want a better life for themselves, can you blame them really?), but offers some inspiring ideas on how to handle and help people in need. Basic things like getting to know asylum seekers ... not going overboard or overthinking, just visiting and getting a picture of what is going on. How they feel. Something the movie can convey to a degree too.

This obviously is not aimed at those who have made up their mind entirely, but will be able to reach those who are not sure how to feel ... and reinforce those who may already accepted certain facts
