Admittedly, there are German crime shows with a faster pace and maybe better plots (Marie Brand, e.g., is superb), but I do like the setting, the nordish atmosphere, the trio of the policeman gone veterinarian and 'his' two redhaired women - one as great as the other - and this episode is the most atmospheric one since it is playing at (and with) superstition/what is believed to be an old Viking curse, that no man, just two women can fight off. There is not just the great 'The fog'-like imagery and feeling, this episode also has some of the most absurd/quirky and therefore incredibly funny dialogue. And the love for animals is another big plus of the show, in this case an art-loving cow. Just great!
