Bruce's seriousness is the best and funniest thing about the show. All that being said, the dogs do mostly all finding of paraphernalia to the point it's more of a border security programme about dogs, than an average "empty out your bag sir"/"will you comply to a frisk search" border programme. It was good and I wouldn't mind another season be made, rather than stations repeating them constantly on loop. They're good but don't have much rewatchability.

TV can be mundane , but when we watch Brucie Baby on SSAS..it.s comedy gold , love the " i.m a customs officer " ..should be best seller on holiday tee shirts, the border force in oz could cut their workload by half by hiring the Bruce thunderbolt, one look from passengers at the staff roster and clocking the wee oirish rottweiler on shift " it.s hands up , read me my rights " . JOB DONE.
"Stop search seize" program aggressive rude officer

Saw an episode(today on pick channel in U.K.) where the officer shown in the 1 photo on the program page here. He was rude aggressive and very insulting, he then picked on the hotel management student for saying "man" when addressing him, but this officer constantly used the word buddy to address the student, sir more apt. Officer also said he would never stay in any hotel where the student worked, it was completely unnecessary, rude and insulting. When interviewed alone later the officer said he has to keep things calm and be polite (to that effect) He was rude, aggressive and insulting, all his unnecessarily he should be taken off duties facing the public, he brings Irish customs into disrepute. Must have been gold dust for the program makers.

This show has been reviewed already by Kim-90194 and I could not agree more with her assessment of this man. He is a total disgrace to the Irish Customs. He is aggressive and to call him Bruce Almighty is very misleading. He cannot even pronounce his words correctly, he is overbearing and loves to flash his badge accusing everyone of being aggressive. Most of the questions he asks are none of his business and he should take a leaf out of his colleague's book and treat people with respect. He is doing a job but he is not the hero he things he is. I assume the producers keep him on the shows because he is controversial but I repeat: he is a disgrace to the Irish Customs.
