DEMONOID 1971: IT'S AZTEC 3D!
babyjaguar20 February 2019
This Mexican horror short film by Frank Moctezuma a.k.a. Alaric S. Rocha. This little Spanish-languaged horror gem has been shown across the U.S. at horror film events and festivals, it's main influence is from 70s exploitation cinema and Aztec culture.I

Although the film entry is shorter couple of minutes than the director's cut, it has too many characters. The strength of this film is its filming location in Mexico and its 3D segment. The story surrounds a crew of college-aged people hiking in the forest; they bumped into a man, seemed possessed and speaking Nahualt, language of the Aztec (Mexica).

Then one by one, they start disappearing and the story unfolds! It's soundtrack reflects the early 70s and Mexican popular culture.
