Choo Sung-hoon competes on ‘Physical 100’
The competitive series had multiple celebrities in the cast. Choo was welcomed by applause when he entered to see the sculpture torsos.
“I’m at One championship. I’m an Mma fighter, Choo Sung-hoon,” he explained in the first episode. “I started judo at three or four and trained until I was 30. After that, I did Mma for 17 years. I compete with younger people, too. I want to show people that even at this age, there’s a way to beat young people. Don’t underestimate this middle-aged guy.”

This article contains spoilers for Physical: 100 through episode 8.
There are many elements that set Physical: 100 apart from other reality competition TV, but its ambition when it comes to the sheer number of contestants is one of the most striking details. If you didn’t catch it from the title, there are one hundred of them. There are firefighters and ice climbers, baseball pitchers and Olympic skeleton racers. And just when you think you’ve met all of the contestants, we flash back to the hall of torsos to discover another potential star.
From a viewer’s perspective, it can be a bit daunting. From a producer’s perspective, it is an ambitious challenge. On the one hand, how do you keep viewers engaged with so many introductions? (Imagine 100 people coming out of that limo in The Bachelor… we’d never get to the roses.) On the other hand,...

Physical 100 shows a wide variety of athleticism in hopes of seeing who has the “perfect body.” The Netflix show kicked off with the cast meeting each other, and one person stood out. Here is everything you need to know about Mma fighter Choo Sung-hoon.
[Spoiler Alert: This article contains spoilers for Physical 100 episodes 1-2.]
The ‘Physical 100’ cast was starstruck by Choo Sung-hoon
The first episode, “The Pecking Order,” showed the cast entering a room with sculptures of their upper body. This was the first time they got to size each other up and talk.
There were a few people who caused a stir, and one of them was Sung-Hoon. Multiple people clapped for him, and he bowed in return. Some said they felt like a fan and couldn’t believe they were in the same space as the Mma fighter. Other competitors no longer felt like they belonged on the same reality TV show.

Justice League should have been the super-hero film of 2017 but instead, was deemed an improvement over Superman vs Batman but not the blockbuster fans hoped for and Warner Bros prayed for. While it’s incredibly sad why director Zack Snyder had to bow out in favor of Joss Whedon coming in to handle reshoots but the finished product is a much-needed course correction from the wrongheaded approach to super-powered people. By lightening things up, Whedon helped us welcome the new heroes and formation of a team.
That the threat was incredibly boring has to be laid directly at the feet of screenwriters Chris Terrio and Snyder. He feels straight out of central casting with nary a hint of the Jack Kirby bombast that was woven into his Fourth World. There’s nothing wrong with a CGI villain (Gollum, Thanos) so it comes down to writing and performance and in both cases,...

When it comes to the recently released Justice League, there seem to be two enduring talking points in regard to the landmark team-up movie that had one of the most storied productions of late: Superman’s fabled black costume and the elusive Zack Snyder cut. And while it remains a mystery if we’ll ever lay our eyes on the former, we do know that we’ll be treated to some additional scenes featuring the Man of Steel when the flick arrives on home video in the very near future.
Now, it’s going to be a matter of weeks before we learn all the details, but there had to be a bit of disappointment going around when word on the street was that the scrapped content clocks in at only two minutes. Really, with the amount of spare footage we know to be lying around, we may one day...

Justice League...was a movie. A movie that happened. No one can deny that. It's now heading for its home release in the UK...
Confession time: I have not yet seen Justice League. People told me it was bad. They said it was really bad. They said it was really, really bad. They said it was a mess. They said it was woefully inept. They said they wished it had never happened.

And you know what? That just makes me want to watch it more. Man Of Steel and Batman Vs. Superman were both flawed films, but they had their moments, and I kinda want to see this one for myself, and feel my own feelings about it.
If you're pretty much in the same emotional zone, or even if you've...

It's time to go "All In" as Warner Bros. has officially revealed the details on the Justice League 4K/blu-ray release, including details on the special features and when you can pick it up!
The live action Justice League film has been pretty divisive since it's release last November. Since then, irate "fans" have been petitioning/demanding a Zack Snyder cut of the film (a handful, hilariously, even protesting outside WB) that simply doesn't exist. Instead, more levelheaded movie-goers will be able to pick up the regular Blu-Ray/4K Ultra HD disc on March 13, 2018 (or one month earlier on digital).
Sure there's no magical verison of the film that fixes all the issues and turns it into the greatest movie ever made (though I, personally, enjoyed the film for what it was), but it does come with some nifty bonus features:

Even though Justice League didn’t quite meet financial expectations, it’s impossible to deny that it’s a landmark movie. In other words, the first live action team-up involving the likes of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, the Flash and Cyborg is something that many of us had been waiting our entire lives for and, in the view of this writer, it made for one fun viewing experience.
Having said that, we need no longer ponder when we can own copies of our own. As it turns out, Justice League will be made available digitally on February 13, with 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack, Blu-Ray 3D Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD releases following on March 13. In other words, there’s something for everyone, no matter which platform you favor.
It’s also worth pointing out how Wonder Woman is front and center on each variation of the cover art.

There have been some very good super-hero adaptations, some very bad ones, and some very weird ones. Here are five film and TV reworkings of popular super heroes that made fans scratch their heads and say “Wha…?”
The 3 Mighty Men (Aka 3 Dev Adam): Better known as Turkish Spider-Man, this strange, low-budget 1973 super hero flick has Captain America teaming up with popular masked Mexican wrestler El Santo, to fight the evil villain—Spider-Man? Yes, Spider-Man is the villain in this one. With the help of a slim Kingpin and some female henchwomen, Spidey stabs, strangles and even uses carnivorous gerbils to slay his victims. I’m not sure why Captain America is operating in Turkey, or why he doesn’t have a shield, or why he’s teaming with a Mexican wrestler, or why Spider-Man is criminal now, and what the hell what up with those puppets? (Don’t ask!

Warner Bros. dropped an extended first look at Justice League during last year’s San Diego Comic-Con, but it wasn’t until this past weekend that we saw the first official trailer for the film. We already have an extensive breakdown of the new footage, but one thing you won’t see in the trailer is any sign of […]
