possibly the best episode of the entire series
seraphin0130 October 2015
Warning: Spoilers
it's clearly not an episode for the usual watchers of the series, you have to know all the references from the 80's to enjoy it to the max transformers (one shall stand and one shall fall), tron, galaxy riders, heavy metal

and that SONG! it's rare to have a decent song usually in cartoons and anime, but night begins to shine is just one perfect song, it gives the episode that whole 80's feeling, am sure it would sell quite a lot on itunes if it were to be released!

the whole art style of the episode is just great, it counters those criticizing the series saying the style and animation is bad, not it's not, it's just an art direction, you might not like it and it's fair, but that studio is talented and they keep proving it

so anyway I'm gonna go rewatch the episode AGAIN and again now, and you should do the same!

"Titans, roll out!"

With all of the über-'80s imagery in this episode, you just know they had fun with the storyboards. Cyborg learns the power of music; how it can pump yo up and send you raging into victorious battle. It's a lesson the whole team comes to learn when they're waiting for Cyborg to come to their rescue.

I love that all of this centers on a (super catchy) song that was unearthed from the WB archives; that one of the best episodes was spun from a little-known earworm. It makes for a sweet music video.

Mystical wolves, unicorns, motorcycles, the laser-grid landscape; you now immediately what they're going for here, and it's all awesome.

The Only GOOD Episode from a TERRIBLE Show
Pickle-Rick15 September 2017
Look at my profile, TTG review, I say it sucks, blah blah blah. But, yes, I do hate it. But this was the ONLY good episode of the entire series. That goddang song, though, jeez, I freaking love it! I loved all the references in it. The terrible crew thought of something so awesome, it even makes ME want to rewatch the episode!

The best episode.
christianfrates28 June 2021
Everything about this episode is great. The animation is improved, the characters are more likable and Cyborg happens to be the heart of the story. I really loved the '80s esque song and segments. If you don't like Teen Titans Go, this episode is definitely worth your time. I consider this the closest to a Teen Titans season 6 beginning.

Finally A Good Episode of Teen Titans Go
GravityLoudHouseLover11 October 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Hello EveryBody I'm GravityFalls2 Today I'm reviewing a Good episode of otherwise bad show Teen Titans Go. I normally Don't like this show Because it's makes fun of the fans of the original Teen Titans & I'm really not a huge fan of the original Teen Titans but I like a lit bit. Anyway I really Enjoyed this Episode of Teen Titans Go. The Episode is called 40% 40% 20%. So in this episode Cyborg keeps playing this song called "The Night Begins to Shine" and the other titans are sick of him playing. Cyborg tries to get the other titans to like the song but they don't. The titans are captured by The Brain and its Up to Cyborg to save them in a cool montage. Anyway I really Liked this Episode of Teen Titans Go. I wish more episodes were like this. Anyway I give this episode a 10 out of 10 stars rating. Anyway Have a nice day:)

An amazing episode in TTG
pokemonchild5 August 2018
Warning: Spoilers
The show is really mediorce, but this is probably the best episode in teen titans go, and probably the only amazing episode we will probably ever see. The animation is beautiful, we see one of the characters being serious for once in the episode. It shows the power of music which makes Cyborg stronger and more serious, the background is beautiful and overall the plot and animation is very impressive. The music was really catchy and really got me engaged with the plot of this episode. The eagles and wolves running with Cyborgs motorcycle is an amazing thing to see.

Just ok
pablodavogomez30 May 2022
While it's one of the best of the show, I'm not really surprised about it.

It's just an ok episode, TTG average episode is 4/10 (Bad) or 3/10 (Very bad) but this one was ok.
