The crazy guy who tried to hang himself is in the hospital. He appears to be in some kind of coma. Peeters brings solution to test for gun shot residue and he soon realizes the correctness of his findings. We are introduced to some really nutty neighbors. We come to realize that a mentally handicapped man was given the task of getting rid of it. So instead of burying it, he threw it in the lake. Because of Peeters' past, people are suspicious of him. HIs findings are valid but while the people in power hem and haw, there is a murderer out there. We are also introduced to a young man on the soccer team and find out that he is having oral sex with one of his coaches. Also the commission wanting to build the dam is applying greater and greater pressure, especially on the holdouts.
