Woven Drama
R-Bird-A1 January 2023
Drawn in by the intriguing, beautiful carpet making art, and stayed hoping for a happy life for this abused family.

Fascinating culturally, this movie shined a light on what still happens in some small villages in Turkey, how they still hold on to ancient ideas, and abuse that is permissible under the shroud of so called "marriage" and "honor" and "tradition". Ironically, the wealthy families in this show didn't exactly have a picture perfect life either- for different reasons. Both rich and poor deal with the poison of jealousy and envy. Both experience domestic violence. And human trafficking exists everywhere. Very sad. The devil doesn't care if you're rich or poor.

There is truly good and bad in every culture, race, sex, age.

More specifically, the characters were quite interesting. I admired Cennet's tenacity most. I appreciated Artem's loyalty and Leyla's kindness.

The story line had many twists and turns, but got a little too complicated and annoying by the 10th episode or so.

Very very very bizarre ending that was incongruent and just left the viewers confused and disappointed.

Good story, terrible plot

The story got me excited for the first few episodes. By the time I came to the end of the third episode, the story is still good but the plot and series of events made this show unbelievable bordering on ridiculous sometimes. By the time I get to episode 4, I'm getting tired of this show. Not sure I will continue with series although I'll like to know how each member of the family fare especially the mother whose character is strong and long suffering.

A billion stars for such a beautiful series, but negative 10 stars for that AWFUL finale

Warning: Spoilers
Such a beautiful, passionate series. If you needed a hero (heroine), you'll find it in Cennet, the strong, virtuous, sacrificial mother. The series starts strong, and you'll find yourself cheering on the little family as they struggle for new life in the big city. But somewhere the writers got really passive, it seems, and never developed these characters nor brought about a satisfying conclusion. The conclusion is WHACK, and an utter disappointment, and I can only speculate that something personal happened to the writers and producer to bring about such an utter let-down, since it is totally unlike the start of the series in craft, detail, interest, justice, etc.). But hey, we're all human, so I am thankful for the series episodes that brought us Cennet.

Don't even bother to start.

Such a horrible ending doesn't make any sense. Left the viewers confused and disappointed. I was deeply disappointed with the ending of the series. It felt rushed and forced, as if the writers had run out of ideas and just wanted to tie up loose ends as quickly as possible. The resolution to the central conflict was unsatisfying and didn't make sense in the context of the show's rules and mythology.

What made the ending even worse was that it invalidated much of what had come before it. Characters who had been developed over time were suddenly reduced to one-dimensional caricatures of themselves. Plot points that had been teased and built up over the course of the series were either ignored or resolved in a way that made little sense.

It's a shame, because up until the final few episodes, the tv show was an enjoyable and well-crafted show. But the ending was so disappointing that I cannot in good conscience recommend it to anyone. It's not just that the ending was bad; it actively ruined what had come before it.
