- There are also some sex references as a woman is told to tear her clothes to make it look like a man tried to assault her, in order to force him into marriage.
- There is one scene where the hero and heroine will be playing by spilling water on each other and in one point the heroine will be fully drenched wearing a saree. A labour who is passing by that place will stand and stare at the heroine's (Trisha) navel and hips which is quite seductive and arousing.

- There are some moments of strong violence as a heavily pregnant woman is forced to swallow poison and is then strangled whilst being forced to watch her husband being beaten to death.
- The woman dribbles some thick blood from her mouth as she dies, and the husband is left lying in pool of blood.
- There are also scenes of moderate violence as men fight, with crunchy punches and kicks to the face and body.
- Characters are also killed by unseen spirits, with a man left dangling in mid-air while being strangled and another man being dragged across the floor.
