Sex & Nudity

  • There are many sex/nude scenes, in which characters are seen performing sexual acts, and in which women are seen in scanty costumes. Bare breasts are visible in these scenes, although the actual depictions of sex are fairly tame.
  • A woman (Rocker Mom) pays for a "meet and greet" so her daughter (The Virgin) can lose her virginity to the band's singer Johnny. They are seen having sex, his hands covering her breasts. Meanwhile, the mother has sex with another band member Dylan, they are dressed.
  • One character seduces a fellow band member into sex.
  • Dylan, Leo, and Lily are in a hotel room together, each having sex with a different woman. The women with Dylan and Leo (Lucy and Madison) are topless. The woman with Lily (Michelle) wears a bra.
  • Johnny, Vic, Lily, Dylan, Ricky, and Leo enter a bordello where several topless women greet them. Skimpy attire shows off much of their rears. Topless women sit in the laps of Leo and Dylan, while two topless women attend Ricky. Vic is seen in bed with a woman, he's shirtless, she wears a bra, implied they had sex.
  • A topless Cassandra is seen in the bordello.
  • During a band performance, flashbacks show Leo and Dylan with topless women.
  • Johnny and Lily are seen lying on beds, with women giving each of them oral sex. Lily's breasts are seen.

Violence & Gore

  • Many violent "fight" scenes, as well as rampant concert attendees.
  • A redneck stereotype is killed in a bar room brawl, though it is later determined to have been self-defense. Many "copycat" killings follow around the world, though these are not shown.
  • A man who wrongs the band is tied up and gagged, tossed into a van, locked inside, and the van is burned with him inside, making him a human sacrifice. We don't see the actual death/burning of his skin, but still a very disturbing scene.

Profanity

  • Strong, explicit language used throughout the film, including some slurs offensive to homosexuals.
  • Over 120 f-words, over 20 s-words, about 10 h--l, a few b---h, 1 d--n, c-word. Slang terms for anatomy.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Heavy drug use, drinking, and smoking throughout the film.
  • The main character becomes addicted to injecting himself with drugs, and is even ordered by his manager to be "shot up" to get on stage.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Malcolm McDowell's character is basically implied to be the Devil.
  • The circumstances throughout the film are quite creepy and scary; characters die and find themselves in unfavorable spots as a result of their "deal with the devil."
