The acting was bad....were those hand puppets? The skull prop made a "I am made of plastic" sound when rubbed. That is why you need a sound guy. The creature look and sounded like it was made of paper mache with a PVC pipe for a bone. Was that some blood "Hellraiser" type thing? Even the car looked and sounded bad.
