Hit and run tale
searchanddestroy-117 March 2019
The main character is a judge whose son accidently kills a man on his bicycle aboard his car. The young man confesses to his father and the latest will try his best to erase every clue related to the accidental killing. This story is very well done, sharply made, with convincing performances. Unfortunately there is no real ending in this too short film.

Warning: Spoilers
It is one of films proposing, first, a serious fist of questions to viewer.

A honorable judge discovers the involuntary murder of his son. And he decides to cover the fact, destroying the proves, giving a not so honest declaration to police, using his influence when the things become real bad for boy .

The last scene is just great.

But the film is not exactly about a fatal car accident but about attitudes and reactions.

About an age and its cold feelings about other and the relation with guilt- responsability-image of the love of other.

It is a film about selfishness and weakness. And, sure, about justice. Precise crafted, powerful message.
