Not one of SIA's best

"David Guetta feat. SIA: Titanium" the title here gives us the name of the two music artists attached to this project as well as the title of the song featured in here. This is a 4-minute music video that tells a story honestly that could have fit in 90 minutes, namely about a boy with superpowers and what happens when basically every special force in America is looking for him to find out who he is and what he is capable of. Maybe not the very best idea given the ending. Overall, I think the story was just too much a 4-minute music video and it did not work out for the most part. Also the name of the song feels really random. Don't think I am particularly familiar with Guetta, so won't comment on that one, but I have seen and liked quite a bit of SIA's work and while her voice is easily recognizable in here, I don't think the song does a whole lot for me. So overall, song and video are fairly mediocre, but for most different reasons. Also somehow I did not remember SIA to be a successful artist in America for such a long time, but if she worked with Guetta already in 2011, then she must have been. Good for her. But overall, I give this one that is approaching its 10th anniversary already a thumbs down for the reasons I listed above. The fact that director David Wilson (according to imdb) was still a rookie when it came to music video directing and only got prolific afterwards is not much of a problem, in terms of direction and camera angles and the technical side as a whole, it's not looking bad. But yeah, there's too many other flaws for me for a positive recommendation.
