Violence & Gore

  • A man is killed by getting hit by a car. His body is thrown in to a lake in a sleeping bag. Not graphic.
  • A woman kills a man by twisting his neck, his body is later shown with a bloodied nose.
  • A woman is struck in the head by a piece of wood. Not shown, but a thump sound is heard and the killer's distressed reaction is seen.
  • A man is struck two times in the head by a hammer. Blood flows from the wound after the first strike, blood flies to a nearby mirror after the second strike.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The episode focuses on a main character forced to cover up a dark secret, which comes to bite her back after 15 years. The first half of the episode is essentially almost a dark comedy, although this quickly changes to dark and depressing in the second half.
  • An implied killing of a toddler takes place. Nothing shown, not even a body. Two crime investigators describe the killing in a grisly manner.
  • This episode is by far the bleakest and darkest one in the series. Graphic deaths of main and supporting characters, dark atmosphere, a theme of hopelessness, it's all in there.
