Mollymillions- I think one obvious reason this film didn't work for you is because it is in no way shape or form a mockumentary. It is,in fact,a documentary.IMDb even has it listed as such...there are a few cut aways to simulations that the subjects in question are describing, but the rest is straight forward and rather obviously a documentary. I am not trying to be offensive, I swear, but what made you think it was fictional? The film by the way is awfully boring and repetitive. Not recommended.

A group of psychologists did a study on conspiracy theorists and the people who follow them; the majority are American. I think the Brits come in second. Clearly, a group of them made this ridiculous "documentary". Fantasists who search for justification for their own failings, oftimes come up with wild fantasies and run with them until the weak minded actually believe the nonsense. Religion started that way as well. This "film" is contrived, dull as ditchwater, and boring. I have watched alien docs before for a lark, and at least they could be entertaining ie Chariots of the Gods. This absurd film is just an effort to fracture the brains of the basic human minds mingling among us who are failing in the society we have now, that they'll believe anything just to feel better about "not being part of the problem". Anyway, I'm open minded about the possibility of life from other areas of the universe however, this is not it. They get so much wrong and there are so many obvious ploys. it's not a real documentary; the so called testimonies are not real. The people are actors and this is about as real as lost footage films.
Boring As Hell

Truly terrible. Even the people giving the poorly lit (with bad sound) "testimonials" about alien visits obviously aren't buying any of it. Not entertaining in the slightest, either as a documentary or something to just laugh at. Ridiculous but not in a fun way. Hard pass.
Should be banned

Unfunny mockumentary

From the description of this movie it sounds like a hilarious mockumentary but unfortunately it misses the mark and is not very funny or entertaining.
I know these mockumentaries are generally done in a really dry and serious style (I guess it's a form of black humor) but in this one it really doesn't work, there's honestly not many laughs to be had. It is amusing but that's about it.
The funniest aspect was the fact that according to IMDb this movie supposedly had a million dollar budget - that made me laugh!
Don't waste your time.

Warning: Spoilers
Man, I've been tracking David Icke since the late 90s/early 00s and it's amazing how his reptillian theroies were once laughed at and now seem as if they're some of the most realistic of all Q conspiracies. Man, the world has changed and I won't lie - what was once fun to explore, now conspiracies are as tiresome as being in a room with a bunch of fundamentalists.
This Chris Turner film even has Icke in it as it explores the presence of "a supreme and nefarious inter-dimensional intelligence that has been manipulating mankind for centuries." Shadow people? Lizard humans? Shape changers? This one has it all.
