An interesting, though workmanlike, documentary relating 7 stories of how VCs were won during the Somme campaign. Effective use of archive, interviews and expert commentary tells the stories efficiently, but there's little to engage the emotions, despite the horrors we've all heard of before. Definitely worth a watch for military history fans, but give it a miss if your interest is less hardcore.
