I loved the cinematography and the editing on this. Following the journey of 3 unconnected people with a drive for excellence and finding freedom through sport and competition, it's easy to be inspired by what that can do to a person in terms of advocating for rights, independence and confidence. I connected to Muna's storyline as she is a college-aged girl raised in Saudi, overcoming trauma inflicted the fading culture of religious police, dealing with a mom who is controlling but who is equally traumatized and just wants to protect her daughter.
It is incredibly well made. I was surprised how much on-location filming took place, all 3 storylines with stark visuals and feelings differentiating one from the other.
