Very fine XXX mystery with great attention to detail

Dick Bush has another winner with "Murder Most Horny", a period (set in 1946) British mystery feature that mixes Agatha Christie with the game of Clue. Excellent porn star cast and careful filmmaking demonstrate what integrity can add to the forlorn current porn genre.

Cynics, who dominate both the fan base and so-called "critics" of today's Adult Entertainment, might scoff at someone taking his work seriously. But Bush goes against the conventional wisdom by wasting precious time and effort on non-sex niceties, like characterization, costumes, styling, etc., only seen of late in those unwatchable porn parodies = ripoffs.

The character names are inspired by Clue: the nominal villain as Jasper Peacock, Ryan Ryder as Capt. Mustard, Jasmine Jae as Stephanie Scarlett. They represent a glamorous bunch at a cocktail party held at Peacock's mansion, where the drunken old boy harasses his female servants sexually (notably humping Sam Bentley, Britain's fave, currently riding high with John Stagliano's epic "Hard in Love"). Being entertained are movie stars from Hollywood: Jack Hamilton (played by Alex Donald, a non-sex performer in Bush's troupe) and Lauren Day (lustrous Victoria Summers).

Most of the cast is suspect, when Peacock is found dead in the hallway, a knife in his chest. Vet Brit Porn stalwart Mark Sloan shows up as the Inspector investigating his case, and Bush is careful to make the whodunit aspect of his film not only interesting but a solid test of the viewer's knack for figuring out these mysteries. Final reel revelations (in a crisp 90-minute feature) are clever and satisfying for a change.

Along the way the hardcore sex scenes are stimulating: Johnny Cockfill as Peacock humping Sam in the kitchen, just before he's offed; Ryan humping ultra-sexy Victoria, fitted out with glamorous undergarments; Cockfill humping Jasmine in flashback; and a rousing lesbian finale sex scene of Peacock's wife, statuesque and styled as mature Leigh Darby, towering over helpless chambermaid Sophia Knight. Danny D is surprisingly cast in a non-sex role as a lusty vicar; film's structure is in the episode format of a TV series (it was shot in 2013 for The Adult Channel) so presumably DD got his chance to use his big dick in a deleted sex vignette.
