There is more of a plot here with less of the surrealistic sidetracks. This is about a present to be purchased for Claire's non-surprise party. Her husband is asked to help in the choosing of the gift. He is the total ass. Fleabag tries to help him but he won't hear a thing she says. We see more pain from the past and the relationship with Boo better presented.

Fleabag attends her sister's 'surprise' party.

This is a strong episode with dark moments and great humour.

The cringe humour in this one is excellent and a few moments made me actually hold my head in the way I did whilst watching 'The Office' and 'Extras'.

Some moments are quite dark and intriguing like the exchanges she has with her stepmother and flashbacks involving Boo's boyfriend.

All the cast are excellent as ever, particularly Pheobe Waller-Bridge who leads it perfectly.

Honestly, I prefer this episode over the other two that I have recently consumed. The acting in this episode was very hilarious, and I think this should've at least deserved the Outstanding Comedy Series award for the first season. I am raing this an 8/10 series as of right now. Honestly, I find this to be a pretty underrated television series, but it is cool to see that it did rank as #5 on the top 100 greatest television series of all time on RollingStone, it ranks at #4 on the top 50 list on Serialized, and it ranks #90 something on this app/website. I think more people should watch this comedy series, because this is a hilarious series.

Another solid episode. I'm not sure it's quite as good as some of the others, but I still liked it quite a bit.

I feel oddly moved by the flashbacks between Fleabag and Boo. Probably because we know she commutes suicide.

I think there were plenty of laughs here as well. Claire's husband is a pretty terrible person, but he is sort of funny at times when he's drunk here. This wasn't the best part of the episode though. I thought the "surprise" birthday party was where things felt most important and maybe the most funny. The entire scene at the adult toys store was particularly funny.

Not one of the better episodes in the season, but it still had plenty of laughs and a ball drop at the end that added a bit of depth to its central characters.

I love the Guinea pig sign on the front door.

Fleabag 3

Warning: Spoilers
We have flashbacks of Boo this week and Fleabag meets the boy that Boo fancied, he lived in the next flat to her.

Fleabag's brother in law pays her to go out shopping for his wife's birthday. It is while they are out shopping that she sees what i presume is Boo's ex.

Fleabag finds that toothy man on the the bus from the first episode as her date for her sister's surprise birthday party. They go to a sex shop so Fleabag can buy a rabbit as a present. It seems the brother in law leaves her frustrated due to something on his penis, he also drinks a lot.

The episode started and ended at a cemetery. Fleabag and her sister visit their mother's grave. It transpires that Fleabag visits the cemetery regularly but is it to see her mother or also Boo's grave.

A lot of silliness with the brother in law this week, it is an interesting relationship they both have with an underlying sexual tension it seem from one or both. The toothy guy also brought a silliness but he just highlights how desperate Fleabag is for sex and she really does not know that many people.
