Convivir

Warning: Spoilers
Another wild episode of Narcos that saw Jorge and his emotional ride almost meet the end. He had to sell out a close friend and let him die to survive on his own and you can't begin to imagine the toll that would take on someone.

This show has been on fire with almost no bad episodes in Season 3. This was another great one.

Another Close Call for Jorge
Samuel-Shovel11 January 2018
Warning: Spoilers
The Cali cartel searches for the rat who gave up the location of Miguel. Jorge must take the accusations off of himself somehow. Meanwhile, Pena attempts to find Christina in order to make her husband testify. This involves fighting the jungle communist guerrillas of FARQ who are holding Christina for the cartel. Guillermo worries that the cartel will soon be attempting to tie up loose ends and decides to book it.

Narcos continues to be a fascinating TV show. Even in this episode, which was primarily used to build up to the final 2 episodes of the season, had me on the edge of my seat. There's so much tension with any scene involving Jorge now as he tries his hardest to get out. The writers have done a great job making him the antihero that the audience is rooting for.

Pena's story in this one was far less interesting than Jorge's. Every time we switched back to Pena, it really ruined the tension that had been building during Jorge's scenes. I know I'm suppose to care about this kidnapped American woman being held in the jungle but I really just didn't. It was nice to see Don Berna and the Castano brothers once again but, for the most part, this section of the episode was a dud.

The two murder scenes in this episode were both absolutely brutal. Enrique's death was horrifying to watch; Franklin's was gory and obscene. If it hadn't been emphasized enough already it is quite clear now: the Cali cartel will do whatever it takes to protect itself!

Getting good

I almost decided to find another Series to binge after the first episode, thinking it might not have what the other Season's had. Now after this episode I'm definitely so glad I stayed with it.

This thing with Jorge, the thing with Pallmaori (sp), and with Jurado...extremely suspenseful. Once again it feels like a good movie. Guess I'll be checking out Narcos:Mexico too.

A stunning thriller

Warning: Spoilers
Episode 8 tells two plot lines in parallel.

The first plot line is that Agent Pena rescues Mrs. Jurado. Just as everyone believes that Franklin Jurado will cooperate with DEA, he is unexpectedly assassinated by a killer from the Cali Cartel.

The second plot line is that Miguel is trying to find the rat. Jorge and Enrique are the two main suspects and the confrontation between the two is absolutely tense and fantastic.

Getting hard day by day.

Warning: Spoilers
It is getting tough to control my wait after every episode. Though the impression of Pablo can't be get from anybody but David is giving this season a little bit thrilled theme. He is cruel, dangerous and smart like Pablo. And these looses at a feet apart of success is making this season more interesting.

This episode was trully amazing. Nice man became the evil and the evil man became more evil man. Love how the stories end.

Warning: Spoilers
Didn't expect Jorge to betray Enrique like that. Man that scene was hard to watch! This is maybe my favourite episode of the season.
