On the television it is reported that teddy bears are being stolen and there are two culprits whose photos are shown. It's a large man and a small man. Mr. Bean covers the eyes of Teddy. The next day he goes grocery shopping and decides between jam and honey. Then he goes to buy veggies. He notices two figures stealing and approaches them. He seems to be fooled by the little man in the carriage who is about to cry. He is relieved when he gets away in time and the larger man doesn't see him. They take Teddy when passing by the cart. Bean goes on a car chase to get Teddy back but the robbers throw a fake teddy out into the woods. Bean stays at night to search for Teddy and thinks he found him. Teddy has been mangled and Bean goes to the vet the next day. A woman with a goose and a kid looks surprised to see Bean with his item. The doctor shows Bean it is just an apple inside of a bag. Bean sadly goes out and sees posters of a missing cat so he decides to do the same for Teddy. He notices a commotion and goes to check it out - bunny bears are being sold. He sees Teddy on a clothing line and ties the line to his car then drives off over the bridge after measuring it. The robbers attempt to also go over the bridge but their truck is too wide. Bean manages to tie them up around a tree with the clothing line after putting one bear up on a tree to capture attention. The robbers are arrested and Bean happily gives out the bears to children.
