In / Side is a well paced and well observed study of a dissociated and obsessive mind.

Watched the film and enjoyed it even though horror is not my go-to genre but even considering that I gave it an 8 here for sheer engagement. There's a claustrophobic feel reminiscent of Polanski's "A knife in the water" and Tom Sullivan gives a compelling depiction of a deranged killer. The flashbacks and dissociation of his troubled mind are convincing and expertly shot, I think, with some interesting Hitchcock like camera angles and close ups. The sound design further enhances the sense of dissociation too. The pace and tension builds steadily and had my attention for the full 9 minutes so even though I don't really go for horror films.

The opening titles were very good, I liked the interplay between coffee spillage through a black and white transition to "that looks like blood" without it being too obvious. Quite Hitchcock "Pyscho" with the black and white transition, I though without being cliche. I enjoyed this. You really know what you are doing Anton, I wish you every success in future.
