Two different recipes
CitizenKaneAAAAA21 January 2019
From a narcissistic parent comes a narcissistic kid, from a narcissistic kid grown into a sociopath, thus: Andrew Cunanan, his life and people surrounded him is a recipe for tragedy. on the other hand we got Gianni Versace whose childhood was fed with concepts of virtue by his mother, thus: one of the most successful person in the world, all of them in an episode, simply brilliant.

Warning: Spoilers
I was nervous about this Matt Bomer-directed episode, but it actually proved to be pretty solid TV. We finally learned about Andrew's father and got a sense of why he acts the way he did. I don't like how they are almost trying to justify his behavior, instead the upbringing should be used to highlight the need and importance of positive role models in a child's life.

Him dancing to "Whip It" was a laugh out loud moment though.

This episode gives a good look into the motivations behind Versace and Cunanan. Paralleling their upbringings and how it can shape your future. However, much too focused on Cunanan. Good acting and cinematography.
