I didn't get the horror vibe. It really wasn't scary. The acting not great. Not really much to it and the ending was dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb. I suppose it could have been worse, but not by much.

An Australian Horror movie about three friends who find themselves fighting for their lives when they become trapped in a derelict power station in the middle of nowhere in which a sinister masked figure stalks them. Great location ,some funny Aussie acting and dialogue but in the end it left me wondering what the hell was going on and why??

I do not usually write reviews with spoilers, however in this case I am left with no real option.
There are 3 main characters that spent most of the movie squabbling and shouting at each other. I assume to "add to the ambience" screeching in a confined concrete space adds. The entire story revolved around running up and down some heavily graffitied corridors in the dark with flashlights. I think there were a few areas where "something" could have happened and the writers may have intended some level of suspense there but then... nothing did happen...
Once the storys villain actually got to work, we were about an hour our own 75 minute long dire ordeal but by this point I was watching 10 seconds and skipping forward 30 seconds to get it over with and I didn't miss anything. The ending was also very predictable and the final nail in this productions coffin. No... that is wrong, it wasn't the final nail... by this point we were using an excessive amount of extra nails to make sure the coffin lid never ever slips off by accident.

Closest thing to scary was one jump scare, i would call it a thriller rather than a horror movie. My issue with the movie is there is practically no plot and what little there is makes no sense. Its too bad because the basic concept though done before, could have been something worthwhile. Its what happens when you take a 2 minute film idea and add 73 minutes to it and some of it seems like pure laziness. There are no spoilers because theres nothing to spoil. I give it a 2 because the acting wasn't terrible although all characters were annoying and unlikeable. The location and lighting were acceptable as well. I've seen worse but that doesn't mean this deserves a better rating.

This Australian Horror takes claustrophobia to a new level. What an incredible find for the setting, a derelict maze of a power station in the middle of nowhere - and what a place for evil to lurk! Amazing use of lighting and/or the lack thereof. Though the performances were at times a bit over the top, the pacing was relentless and while the little plot twists were a bit predictable, not too much story was ever given away. In fact the plot devices remained secondary as they should, leaving the audience to focus of the incredible atmosphere and the utter scariness of the scenario. A well made debut feature and plenty of questions and material for a sequel!

This movie was great, plot, character development and the lot. I cannot express how much it kept me on the edge of my seat. I think this is a great movie, I would recommend this movie to my friends and family. This movie was a great example of high quality, although I can only assume the budget they had was low I can say with certainty this movie was a great 10 out of 10 watch. I was recommended this by a good friend of mine.
