This film is an adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft's short story of the same name. As far as adaptions go this is one stays fairly close to the source material. Some thieves need money and they pick the wrong house to burgle. Sadly it has a lot less talent and money behind then other indie adaptations of Lovecraft's work. The sound and video quality are not great. The imagery never really becomes very surreal or bizarre. The characters are not memorable. The only real offering here is some cheap gore effects that I suppose might satisfy some viewers. Overall there is little that I see in the film worth recommending to others. Unless you are a Lovecraft adaptation completionist you can probably skip this one.

Very gripping. Lee Hedges was a gripping character that had me on the edge of my seat, hope his career takes off.
