Funny episode that addresses a current issue "Cereal Defense" style. It amazes me this show hasn't dipped in quality after 13 years. Keep em coming.

Another Solid Episode
Samuel-Shovel20 August 2019
Warning: Spoilers
In "The Gang Solves the Bathroom Problem" after Mac uses the ladies restroom at Paddy's, the gang tries to figure out who should be able to use which bathroom and why, all while trying to get this sorted out before a Jimmy Buffet concert.
This didn't hit quite as well as the previous two episodes but I thought it was still pretty solid. The bathroom conundrum has enough comedic value to center an episode around but I think this plot could have been helped by a separate subplot happening concurrently to the debate. The episode dragged a bit in the middle, almost like they were trying to flush out the episode enough to make it a full 23 minutes. Another storyline that could have ate up 5 or 6 minutes of screentime really could have turned this one into a complete gem.

Probably the best of the season, but this still does not hold a candle to the episodes of the yesteryear.
They tackled a relevant issue here with both sensitivity and mockery at the same time; tough to do.
The show resorts to cursing and shock value a bit too much, but this was still a creative episode for sure.

Maybe the reason you don't find it funny is because we're laughing at you

An incredibly funny and sharp commentary on a subject that's not easy to make good jokes about. Lots of big laughs as well as that weirdly warm, familiar feeling you get in episodes where it's just the gang hanging out at the bar.
Complaining about how the show is getting "too political"? You should spend an evening rewatching some of the older seasons. This is not new. Maybe the reason you don't find it funny is because you're the target of the satire.

Another strong episode...if you're complaining that the gang is being too topical, then you're clearly new here...they've been doing this for years you guys, look at season 1: they had episodes about guns, transgenders, racism, underrage drinking, abortion, and the list goes on...this isn't new.
Oh, and Mac telling Dee to shut the F up made me spit my drink out

Classic IASIP.

I don't know what everyone else is saying but this episode is fantastic. Absolutely hilarious. It's classic IASIP because they argue the entire episode about something very trivial while each character is perfectly themselves. Quote of the episode goes to Mac- "I don't know, they're at war.". Lighten up everybody, be glad the show is still funny.

Hands down one of the best episodes in a while, which is surprising considering the show is in its 13th season. It remains original and absolutely hilarious today, and the veteran cast's chemistry built over 13 seasons definitely shines in this episode. It tackles another modern political problem with hilarity, aided by the move to FXX where F-bombs and the like are more freely dropped, making those classic moments among the Gang even better. Some of the lines in this episode are so unprecedented in modern TV comedies that they had me in stitches to the point I had to pause a number of times just to catch my breath. The fact that the episode never left Paddy's or involved any minor characters shows just how exceptional the writing and acting performance is on this show. Anyone offended by this being "too PC" of an episode clearly hasn't watched the entire series and should go pour themselves a glass of warm milk and watch Nickelodeon instead.
Still a top notch show.

To all the people saying they didn't like this episode, it's ok to tune out. If you're offended by this, but thought The Gang Gets Racist or Times Up was top notch, you're weirdly inconsistent in what you like. This show is just as good as it was in season 2. This episode, just like every semi-political episode, takes jabs at both sides of the argument and lampoons it entirely. Everyone is absurd, and that's the point.

Too themed. Too much talk

Warning: Spoilers
There've been two cracking episodes in this series & this isn't one of them despite the 10 star reviews. I actually quite like some of the politics this season. This episode it's just a theme they explore to death. The bathroom issue should be funny. It's funny on twitter. It get's the Terfs & the T-activists all frothing at the mouth, & people get into a right tizz on both sides, but that doesn't automatically mean it's going to make for a funny Sunny episode.
Great episode if you love the characters themselves.

You can see the real benefit of the writers being the characters here... You really can tell how much more love and care goes in to making these characters incredibly entertaining. I find myself coming back to this episode often.
boring and unfunny

No orginal jokes about the bathroom debate. All these people rating it a 10 out of 10 are crazy, you can't just read every single episode a 10 that you find any enticement in. All the characters are poorly written and they don't actually seem like themselves. Another Bad episode it in a bad season
A dud

This season of Sunny feels so far somewhat uninspired but this episode seem to hit a new low unseen through out the entire series.
It felt like a low budget effort based on a first draft of a script left in a drawer in Rob Mcelhenney's house,
Not one scene made me even smirk and the characters felt like they are spewing their lines as shadows of their former selves.
I really hope this season will pick up from now on but this episode certainly felt like they've jumped the shark.

Did not care this episode...

Just not funny.
There were maybe 4 or 5 funny lines where I smiled...I think I laughed out loud once (Hawaiians are savages).
I miss this show. I miss what it once was. This is not the SUNNY I know and grew to love. This is some like some piss poor cover band of a once great rocker.
