Witnesses for the Prosecution

Warning: Spoilers
No, I can't believe this is the end of Nadine. I get that this is a dark show and we needed something like this, but it was tough to watch a character get redemption only to go out that way.

I can't believe KJ got played in court too. But the courtroom scenes were great, and this show is building to a big finale.

Good, but long

This was a very slow episode watching the trial commence. Great acting and a great storyline.

Very Realistic

I was suspicious of the "hate crime" element here. The whole thing was indeed an accident, but then it became something much worse. Since the cops were let go, the real perpetrators aren't on trial. Of course, Nadine is a whole other issue. The court scenes are excellently portrayed. K. J. Is doing what she can but she has little ammunition when it comes to the law. The defense attorney is also very sharp and is drawing up a really good case, even though her clients are guilty. One thing I haven't mentioned in my previous reviews is the great cinematography of this series. The camera angles, the suffocating images are very good. There is frequent symbolism being used here. If I were a young man, I may watch this a second time, but that's not likely. There are so many characters now who are sitting on a razor's edge. The conclusion should be very intense.

Testemunhas de Acusação

Seven Seconds (2018)

Series

1st Season

Episode Nine - Testemunhas de Acusação

The trial is very interesting, but KJ is still very weak, I hope she improves in the last episode.

How I hate Jablonski's lawyer.

But the case being a case driven by Brenton's race was due to DiAngelo seeing a black man lying on the ground and denying help, because he knows that regardless of whether it was an accident or not, people would put a label on Jablonski's head of being A hate crime, right? But since KJ is a weak lawyer/prosecutor, she let it slide.

We'll see in the last episode, but it's very difficult for him to be arrested.

Episode nine of the first season of the Seven Seconds Miniseries watched on April 30, 2024.

Rating: 10/10.

Awesome

Warning: Spoilers
Continuing my marathon. I'm going to be as generic as possible in my last reviews of this series because I ran with it and already finished it before commenting on each episode. And before I make the mistake of commenting on something that happens in a later episode, and without wanting to give spoilers, I'm going to comment on the same thing in these episodes, with the exception of the last episode where I'll already know that everything has already happened. The other one that I post criticism has a minimum number of letters/words so I have to mess around. I think it's good here. Just don't read my next reviews of this series, as it will be the same thing as here. Episode nine watched on March 13, 2024.
