Quirky Characters on a Chaotic Ride!
scoopphysics27 January 2023
In 24 hours the lives of several quirky characters intertwine to create an unpredictable pressure cooker that keeps you guessing right up to the end.

The initial set-up seems harmless enough but then gradually the events spiral out of control as more twists of fate propel our heroes into difficult choices, forcing them into wild solutions.

The combination of unique and untrustworthy characters, haunting sound track, and clever unusual shots and angles, give the movie an unsettled feeling that keeps you watching and waiting. This is fun creative Canadian film-making at it's best, kudos to the team of Futterer and Santoli!

Great claustrophobic thriller!!!

Found this little gem on AppleTV!

If you're looking for an Indie thriller, then 'The Customer' won't disappoint. The movie has the right mix of tension and levity, with a complicated romance.

'The Customer' truly had me at the edge of my seat... It's a slow burn at first, but once it gets moving, it doesn't let up. It holds your attention until the EXPLOSIVE finale.

Canadian Director, Brigham Futterer does a fantastic job. Especially with the characters. Each were unique and compelling in their own ways. In my opinion, Paul Mason stole the show as Otto 'The Fixer'.

The Director was clearly inspired by early Quentin Tarantino films. Looking forward to Brigham's next movie!

Highly recommended.

Tarantino-esque thriller

Debut feature film for Canadian writer/director Brigham Futterer is a hidden gem. He has a real touch for story telling.

This slow burn Indie thriller twists and turns as it gathers momentum culminating with a dramatic climax.

Well acted, well written, and, well directed, The Customer was certainly worth the ride.

Interesting to check out Austen Alexander (prior to his Instagram fame) as the troubled lead character, Nate. Amanda Milligan is very compelling as his love interest, Robin. Jake Zabusky provides hysterical comic relief as Ellis. Paul Nicholas Mason kills it as Uncle Otto, the "fixer". (Think Harvey Keitel as Winston Wolf in Pulp Fiction.)

Currently streaming on Apple TV.
