All right! All right! So now that we have been formally introduced to the main characters in the Rizzuto familia in episode 1, and the boss Vito Rizzuto is locked up in prison for a triple homicide that occurred decades prior Vito's son Enrico Jr. wants to run the family business for which he is ill equipped to do so.
In this episode Enrico Jr. wants to pump his muscles not only within the Rizzuto crime family circle but in his own mind he is now the crime boss while his father sits in prison. This situation becomes very difficult for Vito's right hand man, Declan Gardiner, who has the utmost loyalty to Enrico Jr.'s father, Vito. As Enrico Jr. continues to screw up and Declan slowly loses his patience with Enrico Jr. Declan continues to clean up Enrico Jr.'s messes, which ultimately places a huge strain on the previous strong relationship between Vito and Declan.
This episode contains disparity between the various gangs none of which are happy with the heat the police are putting on them all because of Enrico Jr.'s poor execution as boss and his terrible decisions which causes a huge negative chain reaction that Vito and Declan come head to head over.
Once again, the episode ended so quickly that I am eager to see what episode 3 has in store for us.
