Michael starts series 2 in St Louis and we get breathtaking views from the top of the Gateway Arch, and incredibly it's a small train that gets viewers and Arch employees to reach the top.

I would have hoped that Michael would have woven in the racial tensions surrounding the fatal shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, just down the road from St Louis.
We don't see many black people in this episode, although when Portillo got on to a train platform, he had to slightly swivel his shoulder to avoid bumping into a young black lady boarding the train.
