Paul Jones, Neil Gorton, Geoffrey Portass were on the special effects team for Ken Russell's THE LAIR OF THE WHITE WORM and they are interviewed here for this 27-minute featurette. All three start off talking about how they got involved in the movies and then how they got hired for this picture. From here they tell some great stories about what it was like working with Russell and then we get into the special effects themselves. If you're a fan of the film then you'll certainly enjoy these stories as all three men do a wonderful job at talking about what it was like on the set and having to come up with these challenging practical effects and on a rather small budget. There are some great stories told about the blue screens that were used and what difficulty they caused, which then had them try red screens with more problems.
