Best episode of the season.

Warning: Spoilers
This is probably my favorite episode of the first season! In a season finale, the episode opens with Matt and Jay 3D printing a fake gun at a local library, to potentially "negotiate" with the Rivoli in the future as a quote, "last resort". They then, stop at a small bank and after using the bathroom, find themselves in the middle of a legit bank robbery/hostage situation in the bank lobby. In a moment of bravery, Matt decides to use his fake gun to intimidate the robbers, which causes the three robbers to open fire, resulting in them all killing no one except themselves. All three robbers die, leaving Matt and Jay alone with several hostages. Then police as well as a swat team show up outside, surrounding the bank.

Instead of trying to convince the police that they're not the robbers, Matt decides to roll with it and try to set demands to, you guessed it, allow their band to play a show at the Rivoli.

First off, wow. What an effed up premise. Especially for this show, which is usually a tad more light heart-ed than this, except for some occasional dark humor, which this episode is full of.

This episode had my jaw open the whole time. So many ridiculous antics after another. Classic Matt and Jay. This episode contains some of the best humor as well, complete with Matt sticking his ass cheeks against the window towards the police. And a hilarious ending, that I will not spoil here.

This show is known for filming in real situations with real people on the street, but still with the fictional characters at it's core. So.. was this staged? Or, did some of it actually occur? Call me a sucker, but I honestly don't know. Now, obviously some of the sequences where there's blood and machine guns going off are probably controlled sequences. But, apart of me feels like a small fraction of the footage shown are from a real event, and are just spliced together with the staged portions. The beginning of the episode even reads, "This really happened on July 24, 2016." Maybe I'm silly, I don't know.

If you know someone who hasn't seen this show yet, make sure they at least see this episode. I guarantee you haven't seen anything like it on television before. It's definitely my favorite so far!
