I was all excited to watch episode 1 of Season 6 (considering last year they talked of Season 5 being the end...) In the beginning of this episode, I was starting to feel bad that "Shawny" might actually be "the other woman in Jack's life". They even had me believing that Angel was behind it. Suddenly, "Shawny's" actions weren't sitting well with me and I started to not like her (even before Max had his suspicions!) She didn't have me fooled when she said she didn't know who it really was because everyone knows something is 'fishy' when they both live in the same town and have 'never met because they are too busy'. I found it funny when she said she wasn't catfishing him, it was only fake pics. Even though this episode had a 'happy' ending, I'm starting to see why they didn't want to make another season: too many people doing it for the fame (and this episode is totally proof of that!) My 5 rating has nothing to do with Nev and Max (they are always great) the rating is solely based on "Shawny and Jack" and their actions in the show. This show has been on for 5yrs so I'm shocked that people are still catfishing/being catfished...This review is being typed before I've seen episode 2 so, I hope it gets better from here!
