An uplifting film with heart and so much more!
jnsimms22 July 2021
In this film from gifted director Myles Matsuno, a talented, young musician struggles to find himself after suffering a tragic loss and discovers a renewed sense of purpose when, with the aid of friends and family, decides to stage Christmas in in the middle of summer for an elderly grandmother. A few tears, some laughter, and a whole lot of heart, Christmas in July is the perfect holiday film, reminding us that it is not the time of year, but the bonds of love, friendship, and family that matter most. You won't be disappointed.

Christmas twice a year works for me!

I live this movie. It creates characters you can identify with and deals with dementia and the elderly with sensitivity and respect. The pace of the movie is good and keeps you looking for the next scene. It has a great message without being preachy! I would highly recommend this movie for everyone and every age! Christmas twice a year. Works for me!
