The show is definitely improving in Season 3. I wish they'd leave Ted's leftist politics out of the show, as it detracts from the plot. It must be pointed out that the previous episode had the word "homophobia" in the script, and this one had "sexual harrassment" in it, and neither of those terms existed in 1982. The writers could be too young or too forgetful to notice these little details.
