Here we have the music video for the Bryan Adams song "Summer of '69" and this was released back in 1984 when the artist was in his mid-20s and he is approaching 60 now. It runs for under 4 minutes and is in black-and-white and it seems people really liked this award-nominated music video back then, but honestly from what I saw and listened to in here I found it was really nothing too special. The chorus is kinda catchy and I would not even say I have a problem with Adams as I like some of his other stuff, but this one here does very little for me. Then again, maybe you need to have lived in and experienced the summer of 1969 to appreciate this one and have it bring back some memories, which I did not as I was born the year this music video was released. So yeah, all in all, not sure who I'D recommend this to, but it baffles me to see that this is definitely among Adams' most known efforts still today for in my opinion it hasn't aged particularly well at all. So I give it a thumbs-down and a negative recommendation. Watch something else instead. Or just listen to the record and skip the music video if you really wanna go for it. Thumbs-down.
