This episode was different...a closer look into how someone can turn dark after being misguided, tormented and not accepted as who they are as society shuts them out for being gifted or different.
This episode is a character study on the evolution of oneself and how to try and calm the demons that sometimes torments you. The journey this episode takes is just amazing also the flashback sequence. I recommend this episode...Good work again

The making of a sycopath
ha77y73ad9722 October 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Yet again this series just keeps getting better and better!
We find out a lot of Benjamin 'Dex' pointdexters story where this is a dangerous sycopath and stalker. Fisk has asked his fixer to find out as much as he can about this FBI agent and the details are freighting. As a young boy his parents were dead, standard hero or villain story. I'm going to say 10 or he attacked and possibly killed his baseball coach, still don't really know if this guy it dead or not. Which leads to all the complications with shrinks and the adandoment issues. Which leads perfectly into him working along side a young woman and becoming attached to her, in a far more stalker way. This is all brilliantly put together in a noir, black and white scenes with Fisk looking on as a detective on which buttons he can press to really set to guy off. The scenes are completely stolen buy Fisks performance, he says nothing and just watches the destruction play out. This is truly Dexs episode and Fisks is along for the ride just like we were in the emotional roller coaster of an origin story.
We also get some very interesting dialogue between Nadeem, Karen and Foggy as Fisk rats out Matt as an accomplice to his crimes and they are getting the full FBI treatment. But both of our main characters stand strong in the face of this interrogation and throw some verbal punches right back at him.
The only other thing that puts this series higher than any other is the final scene where you fins out Matt was in his apartment just seconds before the FBI stormed in to seize the place. Was not expecting that.

This city needs a new villain

After the previous episode showcased some of the best action and long takes I'd seen on TV, this episode took a much different approach but with no drop in quality. Having Matt sidelined was a perfect opportunity to flesh out Dex in one of the most excellently written and directed backstories I'd seen. The camerawork towards the end was top notch in creating the feeling of chaos in Dex's head. Wilson Bethel continues to play the part of a gifted but traumatic character and I look forward to Fisk's plans for him.
Step aside Matt, Dex is emotionally unhinged too

Warning: Spoilers
This season is really starting to be something special now. After the fast-paced rollercoaster of episode 4, comes "The Perfect Game": one of the boldest episodes of the entire show. This episode completely ditches our beloved protagonist (with exception to a flashback towards the end) and replaces him with Dex, played impressively by Wilson Bethel. Before this episode, I was already loving this character's storyline but this episode just went to another level with it. The lengthy and artistic black and white sequence, where Wilson Fisk looks down at Dex's memories, was mesmerising and something I really wasn't expecting from this show.
Meanwhile, the FBI agent is sniffing around Karen and Foggy, which is a plot point that comes full circle with a fantastic scene from season 1 (where Karen shoots James Wesley dead), and that was really tense too, but if I'm honest, this was all Dex's episode. Vincent D'Onofrio has had the spotlight in the last three episodes, but this episode belongs to Wilson Bethel!
"Hell's Kitchen needs a new villain, and I think I may have found him."

Wow, what a compelling story about Dex. Fisk is very intelligent and he is going to use it, things are going to get good!
The FBI is very close and Matt is in a very difficult situation.
10/10 just like the previous chapter!

Better than EP-4.
Great origin story with a very different way of telling. We get to see amazing performances of actors' playing fisk & dex.
Now i am feeling like why this season is being compared with The Dark Knight.

Matt, Karen and Foggy are all in trouble. Not to give much away but they have psychos coming at them from a couple of places.
Fisk is the big manipulator, using the FBI to achieve his goals. He has Nadeem totally fooled.
We learn more about Dex and it ain't good. Let's just say that he should not be an FBI agent.
I know you are supposed to hate Fisk, and I do, but I may be in the minority when I say that part of the reason I don't lie to see him onscreen is the terrible acting from DiNofrio. He has two basic emotions, very subdued or yelling. People have complained about Karen, but her acting is perfect. She has a lot of subtly Things are so messed up for our heroes, that it will be interesting to see how they get out of everything. The next episodes should be interesting.

Boredevil vol 3.5

In this episode, I got to learn about the guy that never misses. There is also a hunt for Matt Murdock, for his secret has been outed due to the string being played by the god of mischief... Ops wrong guy. Due to the mastermind criminal the Kingpin (The actor once sort of played THOR that one time in Adventures in Babysitting).
This episode was solely about the guy that never misses childhood, and he was 1 effd up kid.
I liked the effect of Kingpin reading his profile while standing in the back during the flashbacks.
Matt was barley in this episode which is why it was probably why really good. I don't hate the man without fear. Marvel Netfrix has always not been good.
MCU isn't any better neither is CW. So we are all basically doomed with hash products.
Again, it was a good episode.

My Reaction / Review for Daredevil Season 3 Episode 5 ''The Perfect Game'' (S3. E5): Episode 4 was good and I gave it a rating of 8/10. So Fisk was behind it. He tried to kill Matt by drowning but who was the other guy in the taxi? Was is that Felix guy they talk about? Probably not, im a bit confused. Seems like Fish thinks that maybe Matt is not blind? Seems like after all the police wont go after Vanessa, that was Fisk's goal. So now Fisk wants to go after Matt with all he got. Poindexter is absolutely obsessed with this woman, what a creep. So is now Matt a fugitive? That sucks. Seems like Fisk is interested in Poindexter. Probably wants to manipulate him somehow. Spending so much time on a side character is not good though. ''The city needs a new villain'', I like that thinking. Dex the creep got exposed. Dex has serious mental health issues, I kind of feel bad about him. Overall a good episode, my rating is 8/10.

Warning: Spoilers
It is hard to take a character named Poindexter seriously, but he has been one of the best parts of this season. Seeing his rage and his backstory here was a nice change of pace, but not even necessary with how good this season has been.
I think this season is the best of the three, and Poindexter is a key reason why.
